Hi my name is Chey and I'm confused like I got my scene of my screenplay ready 3 pups who cross the road to go to the human world I describe it as a road. They call it the grey river but do I say ( crosses grey river) or ( crosses the road)?

Not having read the scene in question, I would say that the pups should obviously refer to it as the grey river, but in the action you should just call it a road, it is humans who are reading the script after all.  the words 'grey river' are descriptive enough that i don't think anyone will be confused when the pups call it that, especially since you will describe them looking at and then crossing a road.
