Dayna Noffke is a writer and director based in Athens, Georgia. A graduate of the University of Missouri, she has long incorporated movies and filmmaking into her work with special education students and disadvantaged youth. After writing, producing and directing her inaugural short film, SAFETY FIRST, in 2010, she went on to create several other underground no-budget shorts, including ROLLERZOMBIES and the all-girl slasher short, MOUSE, which is currently making festival rounds.
Dayna’s no-budget short film, PICNIC, was recently picked up for the pilot episode of the horror anthology television series, THE DARK CINEMA.
Dayna’s latest project is the Jessica Gallant-lensed classic horror anthology feature, TALES FROM MORNINGVIEW CEMETERY. Dayna served as producer along with writing and directing the short segment, THE LIVING END and the film's narration sequence. Jon Swindall, editor of the cult hit, BLOOD CAR, and the producer of an upcoming Adult Swim program, has signed on as co-producer and editor. The film is currently in post-production and slated to release in early fall 2013.
