The Beautiful Angel (A Christmas Love Story)

Can one person's intervention drastically change the course of another?

That's the question facing MORGAN STERN, the successful, conceited thirty-three year old corporate sales director of Hightower Health and Fitness, who, following an encounter with a homeless man, gets hit by a car and suffers a near death experience. Her soul is transported to the Afterlife, where she comes face to face with the Angel who is judging her.

Realizing the punishment for her earthly attitude and actions is eternal Damnation, she agrees to the Angel's request to "save a soul"... a decision that leads her fifteen years into her past - back into her high school years - where she meets (again) the smart, but clumsy and oft-ridiculed GEORGE HORNSBY, a student she barely knew (or cared about) her first time around in high school.

She also learns something else about George... that he was that homeless person she encountered in her future, and unless she helps him, his future will remain unchanged! As Morgan learns more about George, she realizes his "situation" is more than even she can handle, and it will take not only her, but a group of well-meaning people from a homeless shelter - and the "friends" Morgan once spurrned to obtain her promising future, to help George reverse his fate... a fate he has yet to realize.

Not only does she come to realize that helping George may also mean sacrificing her future career and luxuries, but her beliefs and attitudes towards others as well as herself are challenged, and eventually, she finds out that one person CANNOT change the fate of another, but that it does "take a village to raise a child".
