Schooled in directing, scripting, graphic design, editing, art direction and acting, Danann weaves, into every frame, the absorbing images needed to tell compelling narratives, be they films, commercials or music promos.
His recent work includes internationally recognized and award winning short films, 'Team Sleep', and 'Dark. Bright. Red.’, visually daring music promos for Blame ft Tinchy Stryder, Dance4Daddy, DJ Oxide from So Solid and Cagedbaby for Fat Boy Slim’s Southern Fried Records and a beautifully surreal Marc Jacobs viral.
Danann has been selected by major film funding bodies in both Ireland and the UK, including Film Four, UK Film Council, The British Director’s Guild, the Irish Film Board, Filmbase, Channel 4 and more recently, BBC Comedy for their prestigious Multi Camera Director Training Scheme.
He has previously worked on films including Braveheart and The Boxer and programmes on MTV, Channel 4, BBC 3, Travel Channel and RTE.
His broad range of experience means he has developed a strong, dynamic style and worked with all size crews and locations.
