...a writer. My book Bollywood Themes, based on recurring themes and characters in Hindi films is now in bookstores (published by Brijbasi Art Press, New Delhi). I have ghostwritten two books - The Making of Asoka (based on the making of Shah Rukh Khan's period opus Asoka) and Devdas - The Indian Hamlet (based on the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's grand epic Devdas).
...a travel junkie. My travels have shaped me. I have backpacked across India. Leh, Hampi and Dharamsala are favorite watering holes.
...a media professional. I have worked across various media in evolving capacities and contributed in the editorial, design and creative strategy departments. I have been the Editor of the Indian edition of the international men's lifestyle magazine - FHM (For Him Magazine) and Editor (Multimedia) - FILMFARE. I have also worked as the Creative and Programming Strategy Head for B4U Television Networks.
...a wannabe media entrepreneur. indie., a magazine dedicated to the spirit of Independent Filmmaking, my first publication under the -INK|LAB+ free radicalz banner, is scheduled for launch soon.
...a film lover. Films by Richard Linklater, Woody Allen and Vishal Bharadwaj inspire me. So do paintings by Edward Hopper and Fabian Perez and photographs by Bresson and Raghu Rai.
