Patricia Fox

Patricia Fox studied Creative Writing, Screenwriting, Film History and Film Criticism at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She was recently named a Finalist in the Chicago Screenwriters Network screenwriting contest for her new screenplay, One More Day and a Quarter-Finalist in the Writers on the Storm competition for Anatomy of a Town. She has been a Finalist three times for the IFP-MN McKnight Screenwriting Fellowship, the largest screenwriting fellowship in the Upper Midwest; a Quarter-Finalist for the Page Awards International Screenwriting Competition and the Austin Film Festival; and a Finalist for the Champion Screenwriters Contest and the Santa Fe Writers Place all with her screenplay, Anatomy of a Town. She has been a Finalist once, Anatomy of a Town and a Winner once, Date of Death, at the Minnesota Screenwriters Workshop “Leave ‘Em Hooked” Showcase Competition. She directed her own staged reading of her screenplay The Lamar Bigsby Story. She is a member of IFP and Minnesota Screenwriters’ Workshop and the Wisconsin Screenwriters’ Forum.
