Brad Venz is a journalism student turned screenwriter.
He's worked in the film and television industries as a script reader, production assistant, casting assistant, agency assistant and story editor in between writing specs and doing the occasional writing assignment.
Before that, he wrote book reviews for a city newspaper and had a novel published under a pseudonym.
The filmmakers who inspire him are Pedro Almodovar, Bernardo Bertolucci, Lisa Cholodenko, Larry Clark, Alfonso Cuaron, Christophe Honore, Cedric Klapisch, Bruce LaBruce, Francois Ozon and Andre Techine.
