About Me
MANUSCRIPT WRITING
I am a published author of a children's book entitled The Bird that Couldn't (ISBN: 9781424182503, Format: Paperback, Published: February 2008), an adult-fiction compilation entitled Sequential Journeys of the Soul (ISBN: 9781462634217, Format: Paperback - 58 pages, 5.5x8.5, Published: August 2011) and a novel entitled The Ten Mile Creek (ISBN: 9781434978283, Format: Paperback, Copyright 2010) that can all be purchased via the web found by title searches. The script for 'The Ten Mile Creek' is currently being written and formatted for possible screen production and information pertaining to my children's book (as well as a video profile and other perspective projects) can be accessed via http://stephaniecj5.tripod.com/thebirdthatcouldnt/. There has also been a feature script written from my 'Sequential Journeys of the Soul' compilation that has derived and been formatted from the book as the first written script of a plausible documented series entitled 'The Secret of the Nile' (as described below). The completed and professionally critiqued script is currently being marketed via the net at http://www.screenwritershowcase.com/scripts/s723.php and the manuscript itself for the 'Sequential Journeys of the Soul' can be accessed at http://www.memoriesandbeyond.com/HTMLobj-750/doc.pdf.
FEATURE SCRIPT WRITING
I feel that I am a well-rounded freelance writer and have completed a total of three full-feature scripts (currently being marketed) with which the first 3-Star rated script (via the Screenwriter Showcase Community as mentioned above) is an Epic/Saga film entitled 'The Secret of the Nile' which is accessible via http://www.screenwritershowcase.com/scripts/s723.php and has been critiqued and finalized via an accredited literary agency called 'The Writer's Literary Agency'. Secondly, 'The Deadly Sins of Farmakeia' is a Horror script/film that quickly changes gears with a viewing of the award winning visual pitch/movie trailer for the script being accessible via the http://stephaniecj4.tripod.com/horrorscriptvideo.html website. Additionally, the script itself can be accessed via the http://www.scriptbuddy.com/community/?p=4291533614&t=&pg=2 link. My final completed full-feature script is entitled 'Love and Let Die' (as noted per the current InkTip listing) which is a 4-star rated script via the www.Scriptbuddy.com writer's community and has also been professionally critiqued, rewritten and finalized via the Lynne Pembroke Professional Screenplay Coverage Agency (Coverscript.com). The script is unique in that it is a family-oriented, positive and uplifting story of a young adult male trying to keep his family together. True love is a very strong emotion that can not be undone. However, in order for Daniel (the main character) to sustain the relationship with the one he truly loves, it may take an angel to give him direction and show him how to forgive, if even himself. The updated script can be accessed at http://www.screenwritershowcase.com/scripts/s724.pdf. The logline and/or synopsis for each script can be obtained via request at stephaniecj2@juno.com as well as other written books and short stories that are currently having publishing options reviewed.
SHORT SCRIPT WRITING
Aside from the successful reviews of my completed feature scripts, I have also completed a 40 page short horror film entitled, 'The Keeper of the Skull' that can be accessed at http://www.screenwritershowcase.com/script.php?id=831. As of 10/11/12, the script had been viewed 136 times via the Screenwriter Showcase Community and given a 4-Star rating. I honesty believe that this short feature has the potential to grab the attention of an established, high-end production company who may decide to carry the short story itself to that next level as a full feature production, hence the big screen.
WRITER-FOR-HIRE
I have been hired by Cory A. Jones (independent filmmaker and horror fanatic) as a writer-for-hire for the 'Part 3' sequel to his series (which is concept-based rather than a continuing story and primarily released on DVD) called "Manifestation: We All Wear Masks" to co-author with him a story of suspense and unrealistic horror. The stories feature the same villain and concept and the filmmaker, during the latter part of 2011, will be launching an official website where the sequels will all be available to stream online for free. As soon as the website becomes available for viewing, a link will be provided via the resume.
