Bruno Gomes

I've been writing screenplays since 2012 and so far I have 11 short films written that were produced in different countries - 7 in the USA and 4 in India.

I did the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting in 2018.

I've sold two feature scripts so far:
"Killer Goal" - I wrote on spec and sold it to a young filmmaker from Hong Kong. It's an Horror/Comedy story that is set to be produced next year.

"Just A Leap Of Faith" - it's a Drama film that I was hired to write by a first time producer from New York. The project is currently in pre-production.


My short films have been awarded and nominated in several festivals around the world:

"The Robbery" - Was one of the 3 short films nominated for best screenplay of the competition Shortcutz Lisbon 2013 (Portugal). It was also Nominated for best secondary actress at the Asians On Film Festival 2013 (U.S.A.).

"A Woman And A Gun" - Won the award for best actress at the Prairie State Film Festival 2015 (U.S.A.).

"Deadly Joke" - Won the award for Best Overseas Film at the Kifaga Niue Film Festival 2015 (New Zealand). Was also a semi-finalist at the International Open Film Festival 2016 (India)

"Guardianship" - Won the award for best actor at the 2016 Indie Horror Film Festival

"Thomas Hawk" - Won the award for best short film Indian category at the Pink City International Short Film Festival 2015 (India). Was also a semi-finalist at the International Open Film Festival 2016 (India)
