Just Desserts

Logline: When a famous chef is murdered, his staff starts lying. Are they just nervous… Or did they really do it?

It's business as usual at Cafe Le Duck. Unfortunately. Chef Arugula, a relic from the Food Network, commands the entire restaurant- even though he only does desserts. The staff endures his abusive, dictatorial, egotistical and just plain aggravating behavior until….

Arugula is found dead on the side of the road. His motorcycle was tampered with, he was poisoned, stabbed and shot. Inspector Winston, a detective weary of the public and with one eye on retirement, arrives on the scene. Soon, our misfit heroes, four irreverent but loyal friends, become suspect.

In fabricating their alibis, Carmen, Ginger, Kenny and Ashly find that one lie leads to another as they must uphold their stories while trying not to suspect one another in this dark comedy with a twist ending.
