WHITER THAN RICE

Charlie's an ex-college wrestler whose Olympic dreams were crushed when his step-brother, Del, illegally "chicken-winged" him during the trials, which dislocated his shoulder and ended his career.

When Del tells him about a coaching job at a Hawaiian high school, Charlie's already looking for the trap door, but having gotten pink slipped at work, he decides it's time for a change...and takes the job and the risk of a lifetime.

Will the worst wrestlers he's ever seen, Del's constant belittling, drug testing, pickled cabbage and two-ton mammals make Charlie flee for the states, er, mainland?

Or will a new-found backbone and the love of a good Hawaiian woman help Charlie reclaim his, albeit bare, footing?
