OPEN FIELD

Open Field is the coming of age story of Josh Pike, an overshadowed high school football player trying to succeed in an emerging Midwestern college football program. He struggles with recruitment, relationships, sexual awakenings and, ultimately, life choices- in an environment where high school and college football are considered nearly a religion. Josh's journey from high school to college recruitment to ultimate success is followed. Much to his surprise, friendship and love are found where he least expects them.
