Jessie Crane was born in Bethlehem Pennsylvania on a snowy Christmas morning. With the Three Wise Men as witnesses, Joe and Mary are convinced their son is special. At eight years old Jessie heals a little girl who fell into a lion's den and was mauled to death. A video of his "miracle" posts on YouTube and brings out the religious nuts. His parents realize Jessie is the Son of God and flee in order to protect him.

At sixteen, his parent tell Jessie the truth and he decides to travel the country along with his best friend and first disciple Peter, to spread his holy word. Along the way, Jessie performs several spectacular miracles. He gathers his twelve disciples and through social media, attracts a large following. The press is merciless and nicknames his JC2, discrediting everything good he does.

Satan has his hand in all of this and is able to manipulate the media, forcing Jessie into hiding. On national television, Jessie literally moves the sun creating a spectacular eclipse. Yet, they still do believe. The pundits have a logical explanation for everything and most consider him to be a con man.

Knowing he can't change what is to come, Satan manipulates a small group of religious fanatics into crucifying Jessie under the radar, so his ultimate sacrifice will never be known. His evil plan is foiled however and Jessie must make the ultimate choice.

The story is told in four chapters( age 8,16,24,32) through the eyes of Mary Maggie Lynn, the love of Jessie's life.
