Shawn, a pro wrestling fan with a wounded heart, meets the enticing Monique--a woman who runs hewr own nonprofit, helps people who need new careers and is smart and poliet in the late 1990s. He travels over 300 miles up north to see her, only to learn that she is dating a wrestler and that's the only type of man she ever dates. So Shawn asks his best friend Jose to train him to wrestle--something Shawn has longed to do for a long time. Problem is, Shawn witnesses an accident in his youth in the ring involving his father. Shawn since then hasn't been very tough--when he was a teenager an 11 year old beat him up and forced him to say "I'm a little pussy Willow", he tried training for a while, but a pulled punch nearly knocked him out cold. Can Shawn overcome his fear, toughen up, become a wrestler and win the girl?
