In this 90 minute seminar celebrating the release of his book The Screenwriting Sensei, Writer/Producer/Author/Educator Paul Chitlik will kick your writing into overdrive.  

  1. He’ll talk about the three ways to get into your story.  
  2. You’ll learn how to craft your main characters.  
  3. And he’ll reveal the basic structure of scenes and film scripts.

Paul Chitlik

Paul Chitlik has been a writer, director, producer and educator for over 30 years.

He received a Writers Guild of America award nomination for his work on The Twilight Zone in the 80's, was a staff writer on the Showtime sitcom Brothers, directed and produced on Real Stories of the Highway Patrol and US Customs Classified, as well as writing, directing and producing feature film The Wedding Dress for Amazon Prime. Among many other credits.

As a screenwriting professor, he has taught in the MFA programs at UCLA, the University of Barcelona's film school ESCAC, Cuba's film school EICTV, and was an associate professor at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.

Paul is the author of Rewrite: A step by step guide to strengthen structure, characters and drama in your screenplay as well as 39 Steps to Better Screenwriting: A practical guide to improving your Screenplay.
