Joe Martinez

Joe was born and raised in Castaic, CA (it's by Magic Mountain). From a young age he has told stories and has never stopped. After graduating from Los Angeles County High School for the Arts he went on to Art Center College of Design where he earned his BFA in Film. After garnering several ADDY awards for his student specs he would soon get his first industry job as Editor on the HBO television series The Life and Times of Tim. After two seasons on the show he made the decision to accept an offer in Hong Kong to Direct commercials for the worlds largest education company, Education First. The position took him on location all over the world including Melbourne, Moscow and Shanghai. Over the course of his 18 months in Asia Joe Wrote, Directed and Edited his first short film "I See You," which was part of the Official Selection of the Freak Show Film Festival 2012. Since then he has relocated back to Los Angeles to further his career as Writer/Director.
