Paul Rodriguez

I write because I want to change the world (and to quiet the voices in my head). Since all of my scripts have been specs, I write whatever I want regardless of genre. My screenplay "Foreclosure" was a semi-finalist (top 15) at the 2012 Vail International Film Festival and Quarter-finalist in the 2011 Page Awards with "Founder's Day" - another one of my screenplays. I worked in video post-production in LA until 1992 when I moved to the Denver area. I am a novelist as well as a screenwriter and have produced and directed my own short films. My goal this year is to shoot a feature.

Things I believe about writers:
1) Writers have to write or they will go crazy
2) Everybody has at least one story to share with the world but writers see stories in everything around them.
