Allan is a storyteller; he enjoys interesting situations and writes stories based on these observations, consequently, his screenplays are mostly constructed around actual facts and or, published statistics.
Allan’s writing style lies in reality, often basic, often in the language of the streets. As a successful actor, Allan sees situations, locations, and dialogue as tools of reality, and as such, writes in a way, he, as an actor, would interoperate the various situations and written dialogue. Allan is aware of other producers and director’s visions and is holey sympathetic to other alternate views.
Having spent many years in the business, on both sides of the Atlantic and camera, Allan believes he has a unique view into the hearts and motivation of his characters and plays out their scenes in his mind prior to writing.
