I'm a produced TV writer from New Zealand who created a one hour dramedy series in 2002-2004; has worked as a storyliner on a prime-time serial, a script editor on a sketch comedy series, a development executive for two production companies, a lecturer in screenwriting (undergraduate), an actor and stand-up comedian.
I've also worked on several TV series and feature films as a production accountant - most recently on the remake of Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead, and Andrew Adamson's Mr. Pip (starring Hugh Laurie).
In 2010 I wrote, produced, and directed a short film called Be Careful... which has played at various local film festivals.
I've written three spec features - one of whch was a finalist in the PAGE Awards in 2008 - and have another couple at treatment stage. I'm in the process of working with an artist on turning an action/thriller script into a graphic novel.
And finally I'm working on a musical, and am attached as producer to various projects - mostly low budget features and short films - at various stages of development.
I'm married with two girls aged nearly four and seven.
