As a producer, she brings strong storytelling instincts, industry know-how, and extensive connections to create prestigious packages and successfully sell projects. As a story consultant and career mentor, Barri has a passion for both storytelling and nurturing writers that yields results including contest-winning scripts, published books, and packaged scripts that are on their way to production.

Prior to establishing her own company, Barri worked her way up through the ranks. Her journey began alongside notable writer/producers Bruce Evans & Ray Gideon, known for Starman, Stand by Me, and Mr. Brooks, where she gained invaluable experience. During her tenure with them, she set up her first feature and was quickly promoted for her ability to attract new projects and cultivate valuable relationships. Barri later served as President of Production for the prolific producer Debra Hill, whose numerous credits include Halloween, The Fisher King, and Adventures in Babysitting. Barri built and supervised a diverse slate of 20 projects. She acquired pitches, specs, articles, video games, remakes, plays, and books, attached top talent, and set projects up at Disney, HBO, Imagine, MGM, New Line, Nickelodeon, Rysher, Universal, and Warner Bros., as well as facilitating international co-productions.

As a consultant, Barri works with writers in film, television, and fiction to realize their vision, gain industry attention, and advance in the marketplace.
