Industry veteran Brett Heard is an actor turned award-winning writer, director, producer of feature films, digital series and shorts. His journey has included seven years as an award-winning stand-up comic and improvisor, numerous roles in Hollywood feature films, TV series, and over 150 commercials. He is the founder of Fresh Baked Entertainment, the first branded entertainment company of its kind in Canada, and has show-run, directed and produced digital series financed by some of the largest marketers in North America. Brett’s first feature film, STAG, won numerous festival awards including the Award of Excellence from the LA Comedy Film Fest, and after a run on HBO is currently available on AppleTV and Amazon Prime. His second Feature, Go Fish, also won multiple festival awards and is also currently available on Prime, and in 2023 Brett wrote the Hallmark TV movie, Flipping For Christmas. While teaching the Entrepreneurial course at George Brown College, Heard currently has multiple feature films and television series in various stages of development.
