Brian-Paul Mendoza’s first play won a nationally sponsored playwriting competition produced by NPR in the 7th grade. After a 15 year hiatus, he boldly returned to the written word when his second play *change at Babylon premiered at the Tiffany Theater in West Hollywood, produced and starring television actor Chad Allen. Then, following a 12-year foray into choreography, in which he won the very prestigious Ovation Award for Choreography for Deaf West’s Oliver!, Brian-Paul returned to the typewriter. He currently has several projects in development.
