I'm an optioned screenwriter who focuses on high concept screenplays, often on subjects "torn from the headlines". I also write adaptations of novels for which I have obtained the rights. For fun, I've written a series of short stories that have been published yearly in a collection of mysteries.
My screenplays usually place among the finalists or winners of competitions. The three short films that I've written, produced and directed were intended to make me acquainted with what's happening behind the camera, as well as in front of it, especially the process of getting a story on the screen, so that I can work easily with all the people who are part of a production. In years past, I was an actor and director for stage productions.
