Chrissy Hogue Bartels is completing her M.F.A. in Film and Television with a concentration in Script and Screenwriting at Regent University and received her B.A. in Theatre at Franklin Pierce University. She is an award-winning actress, and a writer, director, filmmaker, a co-founder of the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, and Executive Director of Aftershocks Theatre Company. Chrissy is the author of Make a Living Acting Anywhere: Ultimate Guide and Affiliate Manager for Hollywood Winners Circle. She is currently Executive Producer for her film The Stupider Economy written for her by Robert Lynn in which she plays all seven of the characters. Chrissy has performed her one-person show The Stupid Economy on tour since 2012. It earned a sell-out performance at United Solo Festival. Since the economy has gotten much stupider since we started touring The Stupid Economy, we felt it was time for a sequel. And thus, The Stupider Economy was born. It is now in Production directed by Dean Wellman.
