Before I started writing I worked at various jobs in and around NYC including banks, health clubs and restaurants including the New York Playboy club. Yes, I was a bunny. I then had three children which kept me very busy. On a trip with the kids to Universal Studio, Orlando, we went to the Lucille Ball exhibit. At the exhibit was a glass enclosed script of an I Love Lucy episode. I went over and looked at the script and like a ton of bricks falling on my head I realized what I must do. WRITE!
I've been writing now for about fifteen years, primarily screenplays, TV pilots and stage plays. One of my feature film script is currently in development. It's a comedy entitled, "Out of Brooklyn". I have won and placed in a many contest which gives me the incentive to continue along this long but enriching journey.
Over the last three years I've had the privilege to be a judge for a couple of screenwriting contest. Reading these scripts it was clear that quite a few writers sent their work in prematurely which prompted me to start a script consultant company. My hopes is to help my clients get their work in shape for them to feel as confident as possible when sending them out whether it be to contest or other industry situations.
