Erik V Wolter is an author, screenwriter, producer, and founder of EVW Entertainment.
Erik’s first movie Break the Stage is scheduled for release early 2017. The movie is Erik’s adaption of his YA novel of the same name. Erik was the executive producer. He is also co-executive producer and screenwriter for “Dancer,” now in pre-production with Silverlining Pictures.
Erik’s first book, "Loyalty on Trial: One American’s Battle with the FBI," is a nonfiction historical documentation of how his German American father was prosecuted for imagined disloyalty during WWII. The screenplay adaptation was a Finalist in the historical category of the Page Awards.
The screenplay Footsteps of My Father was a finalist in the family drama category of the 2015 Screenplay Festival, a finalist in the 2015 BlueCat Screenplay contest, and is the top uploaded script on the Black List for 2016 in the War genre.
Wolter has written over twenty feature screenplays, including adapting to the screen a Eugene O'Neil play, coauthored a script based on the true story of David Lynn and the Lynwood Vikings police gang, adapted Steve Shear’s novel, "The Trials of Adrian Wheeler," collaborated with other screenwriters, and written numerous spec scripts of his own.
