I worked most of my adult life as high school science teacher and published author of textbooks (I wrote a book called "Cultural Uses of Plants; A Guide to Learning About Ethnobotany").
For the past 7 years I've been studying and writing screenplays and learning 3D animation using Blender. I've completed 5 scripts and placed in 3 contests. The topics of my scripts include educational themes, healing from the effects of racism in the USA and science fiction.
I'm also developing a 3D animated cartoon strip with an environmental theme (using my combined background in screenwriting, digital art and science).
