Writer here. Been imagining stories all my life. Sometimes I write them out. Sold some short stories and helped co-write a novel. It was even picked up by a publisher. But it was a small publisher and it didn't last long. It was an interesting experience. It took a year to co-write that novel. Since I can write a screenplay in a couple months I write those instead. I got half way through film school and have helped on student and indie productions.
