I'm former professor of Russian turned screenwriter. Since I have a strong connection with Russia and things Russian, I wrote biopics about two fascinating personalities--poet Anna Akhmatova and diissident (and Nobel Peace Prize winner) Andrey Sakharov. I also wrote a script that's partly truth and partly fiction about Cary Grant's career as a secret agent. More recently I've become interested in fantasy, and I wrote a time travel piece set in England called "The Missing Angel."
