Originally from New Orleans, LA, I am pursuing my dream career in screenwriting after I retire which is very different from my current skill sets. I have been writing since I was in high school, reading comics since elementary, and watching anime since middle school. I never knew how to format, break down the "Acts", and subplots until I read a couple of books, downloaded the free Celtx Screenwriting Program, and recently took online classes with Academy of Art University. I have 6 screenplays written (2 features, 2 shorts, and 2 episodes for a series), that I have been submitting to contests since 2011. Currently I have received 6 awards for my writing. Finalist from Rhode Island International Film Festival (2013), Second Place Terror Film Festival (2013), 2 Gold Remi Awards from the 46th Worldfest Houston, Preliminary Finalist Creative World Awards (2014), and Honorable Mention L.A. Neo Noir Film Festival (2014).
