I'm from the UK, but have been living in Japan for over 20 years. I've co-authored a couple of books to help Japanese business people improve their English communication skills: The Great Presenter
The Great Negotiator (both on iBooks).
I came to Japan to study Ninjitsu, the art of the Ninja. But family and work kept me away from the dojo.
During the day I'm an HR Director, currently with TEAC/TASCAM - which is a subsidiary of Gibson and a great place to be if you are trying to be a blues guitarist.
