​​Kevin B Young, Born August 2, 1960 in Norfolk, Virginia. One of eight children, Kevin is a graduate of the prestigious Newport News Apprentice School where he studied Naval Ship Construction and Design and played football as a wide receiver under the direction of legendary NFL quarterback Norm Snead. He received the school’s “Golden Athletic Award”.
​Upon graduating Kevin started an Industrial business in the heart of Hampton Roads area of Virginia which he ran for 13 years. Later, Kevin turned to his life- long love of movies and began writing screenplays. He caught the acting bug after moving to Florida. He’s appeared in more than 15 independent film productions including: “Remnants,” “Tears of Remedy,” “The Fatalist,” "Opus,” and several episodes of “Dr. G Medical Examiner”.​
As an independent filmmaker, Kevin’s goals are to produce inspiring, thought provoking films on topics that many filmmakers have only touched upon or failed to explore deeply in the past.
​Kevin is a member of the American Screen Writers Association, CA and the Founder and Host Administrator of the WAG TAG Actors Group at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. This is a free monthly workshop dedicated to helping all actors sharpen their acting skills.
