I will forever be grateful for having joined the military and, after near 10 years with several deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, being able to recall so many precious memories, which I then turned into my dreams and aspirations. I believe that it is only when your dream surpasses something -whatever it may be- that it stops being more important than you. I have been writing my whole life; I use my pen and note pad as an escape route when every exit strategies seem to have faltered. My stories are precious because they were given to me in forms of experiences, although it took me quite a while to unwrap the gifts.
