I am a Northern born, London based writer and actor. I wrote my first feature at 16, without any knowledge of form or craft and it ended up at 252 pages with no punctuation - it still has pride of place in my drawer today.
In 2016, I graduated from Durham University with a Masters in Biology and Chemistry; whilst at university I wrote, directed and starred in several short films. Since 2017, I have been writing and acting professionally in London. I specialise in thriller/horror screenplays and currently have one feature in pre-production and I’m looking to option four more. My unique voice comes from my black humour, my choice of dark subject matter, and my belief that the right turn of phrase can change anything.
I also direct my own short films, one of which will serve as a proof of concept for a TV pilot. I regularly write and act in comedy sketches for a YouTube channel with 117,000 subscribers; and I also run my own short-form comedy Youtube channel.
I am determined, hard-working and ambitious; but I’m also up for a laugh, eager to connect and easy to get along with. My current objectives are to get my scripts read and made and to also read and critique as many scripts as I can. My overall goal in life is to make everything I work on the best it can possibly be.
