I’ve written and produced live-stream programming, including a weekly podcast series covering NFL, CFL and NCAA football , a weekly talk show (which included research and booking guests), a nightly postgame hockey show, baseball broadcasts for the Vancouver Canadians, the Olympic Softball Qualifying tournament, a boxing tournament, and several live music specials.
I've served as a script doctor or consultant on a couple independent feature films, produced an award-winning short film, and have even adapted a couple of published works, including the hit musical "The Forgotten Carols" and a 7 part Event Series based on a true story from World War 2. (Sad that we have to number these things.)
My spec feature screenplays have won Best Screenplay in 6 national screenwriting competitions, including Script Pipeline, Fresh Voices and High Concept.
I've also been fortunate to survive everything from skydiving to high performance race driving. I once spent most of a weekend doing 140 miles an hour and was the only rookie the instructors ever let solo. Also, I rescued one of the world's cutest dogs who now has his own Facebook page, so there’s that.
I also produced a short film for the 168 hour film festival. “A Temp For All Seasons” was completed in 2 weeks (1 week to write and prep, 1 week to shoot and post) on a budget of just $2,000 and won 5 awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Original Score.
In the High-Definition camera rental business, I coordinated equipment and crews for $100 million dollar+ productions, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Miami Vice, Collateral, Touched By An Angel, Arrested Development, and clients such as Michael Mann, George Lucas and rock band U-2. I've implemented brand new inventory tracking software, run cables and cameras, produced multi-camera television programming and operated cameras and score bugs for live sporting events.
But my first love is movies, specifically of the action – thriller variety.
