I’m an aspiring Screenwriter!
From The Republic Democratic of Congo, now I’m emigrated and living in Cape Town - South Africa.
I love writing and committed creating my own stories and I’m aspiring to work as a professional writer for Screen (I never attended a Film-School).
While back home in my young age at school, I started to writer ideas to make songs just for funny with colleagues and then I realized that I don’t have a nice voice to sing. Then I decided to write my ideas as stories.
I arrived in South Africa, I decided to learn English as in my country the official language is French and then I started interesting in screenwriting as I had some breakdown stories without knowing what a Screenplay is.
In 2005 I joined a “Script Writing for Movies” learning distance course (Short Course) and then I joined a work shop for weeks.
I started understanding more about Film Industry while I registered as a background artist in 2003 with extras agencies in Cape Town. Apart being background artist and featured in films and TV commercials. I had a chance to be a Stand-In one on one for: Clarke-Peters and Chiwetel Ejiofor in a TV Film “End Game” May 2008; Louis Gossett Jr in a TV commercial Sept 2008; Ving-Rhames in “Master Harold, and The Boys” feature film Jan 2009 for 3 months and then I stranded-In for Forest-Whitaker in “Zulu” feature Film Sept 2012 for 3 months. Worked as a Stand-in helped me a lot improved my writing craft. I’m also improving trough free Screenwriting Resources and online free online Screenwriting Courses to develop my stories to Spec-Scripts. I worked as an Assistant Set Dresser during shooting of the movie “The Philanthropist” Dec 2008.
The courant draft of “Controversial Trip” has gone through 2 Script-Coverage and the reports are helping me to polish and crafting my other Spec-Scripts.
