Players Theatre, Houston, Tx.; Luv, Any Wednesday, The Subject was Roses and The Glass Menagerie, Dinner Theatre, Jackson, Ms. (where I designed, built, painted the sets, set the lights, secured the publicity, cast, and directed the shows.)
THEATRE – TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: Alley Theatre, Houston, Tx.; Junior staff member, apprentice on sets, lights, scene changes, props and other jobs; Cherokee, NC, Unto These Hills technical staff member, repaired set pieces, collected props, scene changes; Erie Playhouse, Erie, Pa., summer apprentice at the outdoor tent playhouse, helped set up tent, constructed seating and stage, set up lighting, strung cable, in charge of acquiring and controlling props for several shows; Robert Howery Studio, Houston, Tx., directed and supervised construction of several shows including drops and building operas Romeo & Juliet, Golden Cockerel, working on productions of Stop the World, I want to Get Off, My Fair Lady, Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, civic ballet The Nutcracker, the opera Othello for New Orleans Grand Opera, the Consular Ball and The Artists’ Ball in Houston, Tx., repaired The Boy Friend set, built and set up The Mikado for the Houston Gilbert and Sullivan Society; Shop Assistant, working under department technical director in set construction of main stage productions at University of Houston, Tx., and Graduate Shop Assistant at Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Tx., building main stage sets.
