Phillip E. Hardy is a writer, musician and consultant with a wide range of experience and education. He began his career in developing and creating the first historical fiction novel about the Hatfield-McCoy feud. Kingdom Of The Hollow, The Story Of The Hatfields and McCoys, was revised and republished as a kindle book in May of 2012. During the month of June, it was the bestselling 19th century historical fiction book at Amazon marketplace. The kindle has since sold thousands of copies. Hardy’s work was also entered into the Kentucky Historical Library.
Phillip E. Hardy was a long time contributing writer for Sound the Sirens online magazine and has reviewed countless CD’s, books and films including Capote, There Will Be Blood and The Social Network. He has published articles on Hackwriters as well as several other online magazines. Recently, his review of the History Channel’s Hatfields and McCoys miniseries has been widely read and sparked tremendous controversy at Amazon.com.
His current projects include promoting a screenplay for Kingdom Of The Hollow, The Story Of the Hatfields and McCoys. This screenplay is being showcased at an upcoming American film festival. He is also developing a television show about New York organized crime figures during the early 1980’s. Though fictional, the story is based on the true life manuscript of well known hotelier Biff Halloran. Finally, is working with producer Zane Levitt on a biopic script about a famous 1960’s radical.
As a drummer, singer and songwriter, Hardy has played with many celebrated blues musicians including Guitar Shorty, Eddie Money, and Joe Houston, LA Jones, Marcy Levy, Robert Lucas and many others. He has opened for Rank and File, Canned Heat and the Motels. His songs are being sold worldwide and have been heard and downloaded by thousands of listeners worldwide. He is currently endorsed by Soultone Cymbals.
Hardy received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix, his Master of Management from University of Redlands and is a Stanford University Certified Project Manager.
