I have written in various genres since my teen age years, notably scientific journals and business publications, as well as plays, opera librettos, song lyrics and short stories. In the past, I have sent ideas to various television shows in the form of synopses, treatments, and scripts, and had several considered. I hold a BA in English, a BA in music and a Masters in Botany.
I have completed twelve scripts. Eight are full length. One is a Supernatural/Thriller, another is a Sci-Fi Romantic Comedy. There is a Fantasy/Drama Teleplay, a Sci-Fi Teleplay and a Dramedy. Two scripts are Romantic Comedies. Of the shorts, two are Fantasy/Dramas, the other, a Sword and Sorcery/Fantasy. There is also a TV pilot and a full length Fantasy/historical/ Mythic.
The Fantasy/Drama short, "The Door", won best short screenplay at the GIAA Film Festival, been in the finals of Scriptsavvy, placed fourth in the Skyfest Film Festival, was an official selection of the George Lindsey UNA film festival screenplay contest, and an honorable mention at the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival. This script came in 7th at the New American Screenplay contest. This short script has been expanded into a Teleplay.
The Supernatural/Thriller, “Haunting of Reactor 5” was in the quarter finals of the Golden Brad awards and was an honorable mention in Screen Writer show case and fourth at the Skyfest film festival, as well as an official selection from the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood. The TV pilot ‘By Touch’ is based on characters introduced in ‘Haunting of Reactor Five’.
The Dramedy "Something in Common" placed in the semi-finals of the One in Ten Screenplay Contest and placed fourth at the Skyfest film festival.
The SC-FI Made for TV film "Death Games" had an honorable mention in the Screen Writer Showcase.
My Short films "Last Promise" and "Something Blue" were recently filmed in San Diego.
