Just a little about my opinions related to the entertainment industry, succeeding in this industry is not a lottery ticket. It is a transformational journey where you up your game beyond what you think is possible. Besides the basics of learning, creating, and writing every day, here are four areas you need to elevate constantly.
1. Build your belief in yourself. Become a power writer and power learner.
2. Raise your writing and the writer you are to Professional Quality. Focus on what truly makes you special.
3. Go from unknown to known. Be smart about your strategies- not set in your ways.
4. Fulfill market needs.
First, a little about my experience, I’m older than 40, but not over the hill yet. I have years of time-tested thrilling experiences for review. To date, I am a produced screenwriter and a Binge-Worthy TV scriptwriter.
Plus, I produced and directed a feature film, a documentary and was an Associate Producer for several other films which are listed on imdb.com under my name. I’m a graduate of the SU Pro Series, Binge-Worthy TV Series and the two-year Master Screenwriting Program at ScreenwritingU in Los Angeles. Yes, and even dabbled in a little music by connecting with The Songwriters Academy in the UK. Never stop learning.
And to keep things moving along, I completed a new TV script title is, “THE LAST FRONTIER LAWMAN," a Crime/Drama about a high-flying, high-octane, modern-day lawman in Alaska, it's loaded with major conflicts and dilemmas. Never a dull moment.
Next, just to keep the ball a-rolling I have just finished a script I’m promoting it's an action/adventure, full feature screenplay titled "SAVING PARADISE." A Die Hard meets Pearl Harbor, it's full of explosive action
Guess what? A NEW Western Comedy full feature titled, "GUNFIGHTER'S LOCAL 321." It's sad but hilarious! I can't quit now! So, I'm working on several other binge-worthy TV concepts. One is titled, "GOLD RUSH 1848", it takes place in California during the rowdy gold-digging stampede.
And another script titled "MASK OF DEATH", to avenge her fiancé death, a distressed female detective has to become as ruthless as the psychopathic killer she seeks to end his killing spree.
“Max’s Miracle” - Based on a true story about a courageous and determined mother who struggles with the frustrations she encounters with the medical profession. “Real heroes don’t always wear tights or uniforms.” Some live in your own neighborhood.
As of September 2024, I'm in the process of re-writing 2 NEW scripts and 1 New TV half-hour Comedy.
BTW, if you would like to read either of these scripts just message me. Also, if you need some help on your dream script, I am also available for writing assignments.
Thanks a million,
Robert W. Daniel
