Sandra Campbell is a native Houstonian and graduate from the University of Houston. She holds a degree in psychology with a minor in political science and has a rich, diverse background in mental health, writing, acting and teaching. For the past eight years, Sandra has worked as a corporate language trainer and starred in several short films and independent features. She has worked with the Next Actor Studio in Houston and occasionally teaches acting for adults and children. A poet and writer, Ms. Campbell writes articles for Demand Media and has been a film and television contributor to the online magazine, Suite 101.
In 2009, Sandra was awarded a poetry fellowship with the Vermont Studio Center and her feature screenplay Hyde Park received an honorable mention in the 2009 Fort Bend Writer’s Guild Screenplay competition. She also starred in a production of the The Vagina Monologues at the Ensemble Theater in Houston, Texas in 2009. Acting and writing are Sandra’s life-long passions and she hopes that people find inspiration in her performances and in her written words.
Ms. Campbell is the author of recently published book, A Practical Guide to Learning American English: Tips for High Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced English Students and hopes the book will help language students improve their English. Sandra is currently researching for her fifth screenplay and pursuing acting opportunities.
Sandra will direct feature films in the future.
