My name is Steven Walters. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and like many people around
the world, seeing STAR WARS at age 9 changed my perception of film. But it wasn’t until the late 80’s
that I began to see its power. I wrote a screenplay, then another, and another. But life and other
distractions kept my from being 100% focused on my writing. I taught myself, became a compter repair
tech for about 10 years, until life happened again and I had my second child. As a stay-at-home dad,
during down time I was able to re-focus myself on my writing. Looking back on my old scripts, I can
clearly see my naiveté. Now, I can see my strengths. I am 49 and live in Azusa,
California.
