I was born on December 21st, 1994 in Miami, FL. I was born with Poly-cystic Kidney Disease, and I received my first kidney transplant in 2004, but unfortunately lost it a year later. I spent eleven years doing Dialysis before receiving my second kidney, and first liver transplant on August 12th, of 2017. Words cannot express how grateful I am for my new organs. I started writing poems and short stories at a young age. One of the reasons why I write is to escape. Writing is my way of escaping into that beautiful, magical, and long-lasting tale that only exists in movies. I believe that through writing one finds their hidden identity. I write because, writing tells more than just a story; it explains the world. I write to inspire, to learn, and to give people something to think about. Writers are not humans, we are something so far from normal. For me, if one truly loves to write, then he or she must treat it as more than just a hobby, you should never stop writing. Write as if you are writing to save your life.
