OVERVIEW
I’m an identical twin who loves movies and I’m always up for a great challenge!
One summer in college, I took an acting class. I ended up auditioning for a play that was being put on by
my school and I got the part. The only problem was, I wasn’t yet driving on my own and my dad wouldn’t
take me to rehearsals so I had to drop out. I think about the experience and confidence that I would have
received if I did the play.
In 2018, I had another life changing experience. I was not working and had money saved up from
Facebook stock that I owned. I heard that Justin Timberlake, my crush, who I admired a lot for a long
time was going to headline the Superbowl! My crowning achievement was to meet him in person. I got on
a plane and started my journey. My family told me I was out of control spending all of my money. I
stayed at hotels each night. I truly felt free and on my own though. After a couple of months, I returned
home and was sad that I didn’t get to meet Justin in person. My family told me I was living a fantasy.
Looking back now, I was repressed and something inside of me snapped. I don’t know if I'll ever have an
experience like that again. It was daring but so much fun! I thought how can I describe what I've just been
through? I wanted to remember my adventure forever. I started writing a screenplay with characters that
experienced the same journey I went on. Celebrity obsessions are such a mystery to me. We spend more
time of our own life following the lives of famous people we love yet will probably never meet. I want to
introduce you to 11:59, combining elements of old and new Hollywood such as heroic characters,
mysterious plots and suspenseful twists, it’s an epic journey of living life to the edge past all regrets. It’s
most importantly a tribute to Hollywood, the world I'm a huge fan of.

SUMMARY
One summer in Los Angeles, over seven days, a gay couple Ryan Middles and Cal Collins, who have
been together since high school, are invited to the famous screenwriter Saul White’s party after running
into him by accident on Mt. Lee where the Hollywood Sign is located. Cal can hardly contain his
excitement as he’s Saul's biggest fan. At the glamourous party, Ryan and Cal see people they know from
high school and work. Saul makes his way to them and he takes them down to his basement where he
explains the script he’s been writing, called 11:59, has been stolen. Saul gets mad at Cal, who just naively
wants the part in Saul’s movie. Ryan becomes angry and declines to help Saul find the missing script.
Ryan forces Cal out of the party who is embarrassed and in tears. Cal’s father, Julian is a former model
who wants Cal to live in the real world by keeping his steady job at the bar he works at with his best
friend Bryson. Reconciling with Cal, Ryan calls Saul to tell him he’ll help him find his script. Cal,
excited, runs off with Ryan where they celebrate Ryan’s new position as police detective.
Ryan is informed that Lee Stewart is a quarterback in high school who may have a drug connection to a
cartel. Ryan meets with Saul at Cal’s work who hasn’t shown up to the bar. Ryan follows Saul to his
house to look for clues. Saul tells Ryan that Cal’s a great guy and that he’s lucky to have him. Ryan
reminds him that it seems Cal’s only concern nowadays is being an actor for Saul. Cal runs away after
fighting with his family and Ryan. He stays at an expensive hotel. Obsessed with landing the new role in
Saul’s movie, Cal performs a monologue from one of Saul’s movies and uploads it to Saul’s website.
Ryan becomes lonely without Cal and visit’s his best friend Mitch. They drink and laugh together. Ryan
tells Mitch that Cal’s out of control and that he needs his help finding Cal.
Cal has a nightmare and realizes how he’s been treating his family and friends. Cal reconnects with Ryan
on Ryan’s uncle’s dock and they realize they miss each other a great deal. Ryan supports Cal’s choice to
become an actor and encourages him to meet with Saul about casting Cal in his new movie. Saul picks up
Cal from his townhouse. He takes Cal on a road trip explaining he knows who stole his script because
events written in his script, 11:59, are playing out in real life and he needs Cal’s help in getting it back.
They arrive at a secluded cabin in the woods where Cal contacts Ryan for help. Saul confronts Harry
Reid, the owner of Legend Pictures Studio who has stolen his script. Harry tells Saul that he didn’t follow
the rules and he can’t give him his script back and that Saul must win it back. Harry has sent a giant
behemoth of a man to kill Saul and Cal. Ryan arrives just in time and helps Saul and Cal escape the cabin
while retrieving the movie script. Ryan and Cal uncover that Harry is an alias name used by Arthur who
molested a younger Saul which triggered Saul to write 11:59.
