When a lowly graphic designer unwillingly participates in his office march madness pool, his bracket succeeds beyond anyone's expectations turning him into a celebrity who must discover the terrifying truths that lurk beneath the surface of our world.
Buster Realms is in a rut. Fresh out of college with a liberal arts degree, Buster is forced to infiltrate the corporate workforce, a world he rallies against. An outcast in the office, he holds out hope for a life of artistic creation. But fate tosses Buster a curve ball. He's kicked out of his college band and at his lowest he meets Bracket Don. Don forces Buster to participate in the company March Madness pool. Buster begrudgingly commits, but is further ridiculed by his office mates when he positions his alma mater in the Final Four.
In an opening weekend plagued with upsets, Buster's bracket remains perfect. He becomes a hero to his peers and climbs the corporate ladder of success. But fame comes with a price. He receives threatening phone calls and is pushed in several directions while he questions his own sanity.
With only four teams left in the tournament, Buster's bracket remains perfect. When Buster and Don learn the startling news that another perfect bracket exists they uncover a mystery that threatens to destroy the world.
