Take Two is a story of redemption against a town that loves to chew you up and spit you out.
The glory days are long gone for former friends, Marty, Dylan, Scotty, and Michelle. They are basically unemployable and despised by anyone that matters in the entertainment industry.
Down on their luck and out of options, Michelle and the guys decide to shack up together, pool resources and help each other revitalize their careers. The problem? All that baggage. There’s the public feuds, Twitter wars, sex tape scandals, and even the occasional restraining order.
With so much volatility in the household, it’s probably a good idea that everyone gets plenty of personal space. Unfortunately, Pacific Ocean views in Malibu are not on the menu. Reality offers up a much less appealing option - Michelle’s somber three bedroom apartment in the valley.
One major roadblock still remains, no reputable talent representative will give Michelle and the guys the time of day, except one person, a green-as-grass, young agent named Benjamin Goldstein, who happens to live in their building and is looking for new (aka his first) clients. Although rough around the edges, Benjamin is driven and clearly has a bright future ahead of him. His biggest challenge is that he doesn’t know a single player in Hollywood! He is an agent without a Rolodex.
Come hell or high water, Michelle and the guys will stop at nothing to reclaim their spots on the A-list. Although this particular road back to stardom is definitely not paved in gold.
