A mother quits her job and she and her son move to her grandparents farm after crime and homeless tents and shelters spring up in the city where they live. A variety of unexpected bills drains her savings before she can start a new job and the appearance of her ex-husband additional trouble. When she gives him the last of her savings to leave them alone, help arrives from two special people. A "feel-good" story with a happy ending. (Note, this the second in a series of Angels Around Us, which I'm working on with another writer)
