Terry Francis was once the best when it came to special forces soldiering. An experienced and decorated member of 22 SAS. Until a mission in Iraq went horribly wrong and changed his life forever. Washed up, burnt out, he's a borderline alcoholic, his marriage has failed and his daughter has died, leaving him crushed and grief stricken. But he's got bigger problems. Someone is killing off members of the special forces community. Whoever it is is tough, ruthless, highly skilled, and eliminating operatives one by one. He's now on Terry's trail and heading on a collision course with him. Psychologically unstable, borderline suicidal, Terry knows he has no choice but to go back into the field and face his enemy head on in a fight from which only one will walk away.
