Alex Chaser is not your typical heroine. She is not a warrior princess who deplores fighting. Nor is she the naive, average girl thrust into a world of danger and excitement. Alex Chaser is crass, petulant, hard-working, and independent. She's the girl who isn't afraid to bite back, take charge, and call out bull-shit. This script aims to completely rewrite how action sci-fi is made. Having researched tremendously in astrophysics and future-space tech, it will visualize a universe where space battles are fought more similarly to the naval/land tactics of the 18th Century. A MASTER AND COMMANDER or PIRATES IN THE CARIBBEAN in space. Instead of piloting snub-fighters like X-WINGS against TIE-FIGHTERS, soldiers dawn special suits, fighting freely in the openness of space.
This script is unique through and through. The concept, the characters, the setting, and the action work together to form a completely new world for the audience in the sci-fi/space film genre.
