Active ✔ PDFSet in the office of a small but highly classified Australian intelligence organisation, Directorate is a humorous, dramatic glimpse into the world of espionage and internal politics as the senior staff of the 'National Security Operations Directorate' work to protect the interests of Australia domestically and abroad in a dangerous world.
Episode Synopsis
Agent Chris James finishes a transfer of Australians into protective custody due to the release of their details on an ISIS hit-list. Agent Brian Ogden arrives at the office to find a new recruit. Meanwhile, the Director is busy entertaining senior politicians on the phone, avoiding a journalist's calls. Soon, the NSOD prepare to supervise Federal Police terror raids, but a storm is brewing elsewhere. As prep for the raids starts, clues collide in his mind and Brian realises the significance of the journalist on the phone: the agency has been compromised. The Director takes the journalist's call. Later, as the raids begin across Australia, she stages her first and likely last press conference.
